Hydrated Lime Plant is also known as Lime Hydration Plant, it usually consists of a series of equipments,eg. lime crusher, bucket elevators, lime weighing feeder, water circuit(pump,flowmeter,control valve,injection nozzles), multi-stage lime hydrators, air classifier, pulse bag filters or wet scrubber, residue mill, pneumatic conveyors,silos,etc..
Among all the equipments, Lime Hydrator is the key part of the Hydrated Lime Plant. based on the designed capacity and lime quality, the hydration unit may consist of a 2-stage, 3-stage, 4-stage or 5-stage hydrator system.
Lime Hydrator is a reaction chamber installed with mixing shaft(s) and blades, which allows quicklime and water to be fully mixed and reacted under strict control of temperature and durance, lime &water feeding rate. the lime hydrator may have 1, 2,3 or 4 mixing shafts to achieve optimal performance depending on the design.
